Frequently Asked Questions

1. is my deposit refundable?

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date. While deposits aren’t refundable in the case of cancellations, I completely understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, your deposit will be applied to your new session date. I just ask for as much notice as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements. Thanks for your understanding and support!

2. What is your late and cancelation policy?

If you’re running late to your session, we’ll still shoot for the remaining time scheduled. Unfortunately, we can’t extend the session past the original end time. However, if I’m the one running late, I’ll make sure you still receive the full session time we planned.

For cancellations made less than 7 days before your session, payments already made are non-refundable—except in cases of emergencies, weather, or other unavoidable situations. This is because that time could have been offered to someone else. That said, I totally understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, any amount you’ve already paid will carry over to your new session date.

3. Where should i take my pictures? Do you travel?

Not sure where to take your photos? I’ve got you covered! Whether you’re dreaming of a charming downtown vibe in Fairhope, wide open fields, the sandy shores of Orange Beach, or the timeless beauty of The Grand Hotel, I have plenty of location suggestions to match your vision and style. I’m also happy to travel wherever your story takes us! For locations more than 50 miles outside of my designated area, a travel fee applies—starting at $50 and adjusted based on distance.

4. How many photos will i receive?

The number of images depends on the length and type of session, but I never put a limit on how many you can see or download. For example, I’ve delivered up to 200 photos for a one-hour portrait session and over 300 for a one-hour couples session. I focus on capturing every meaningful moment, so you’ll receive a full gallery of beautifully edited images—with no cap on your memories.

Depending on the vibe of the location, we’ll work together to choose outfits that feel true to you—whether that’s formal, casual, or something totally unique. I’m happy to offer suggestions and inspiration, but at the end of the day, it’s all about representing your personal style and feeling confident in what you’re wearing.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! It’s all about reflecting your unique personality and connection. I’m more than happy to follow any ideas or inspiration you have in mind—whether it’s specific poses, locations, or a certain vibe you’re going for. This session is yours, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure the final photos feel authentic and true to you. Feel free to send over your Pinterest board!

7. Do you help with posing?

Yes, absolutely! I know being in front of the camera can feel a little intimidating at first, but I’m here to help you feel comfortable and confident throughout the session. I’ll gently guide you with natural prompts and poses so nothing feels stiff or awkward—just relaxed, genuine moments that reflect you.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

My typical turnaround time is 2–4 weeks, depending on the season and workload. That said, I always aim to deliver your gallery as soon as possible—often earlier! I put care into editing each photo to make sure everything looks its best, and I’ll keep you updated along the way.
